Mark Straight died unexpectedly on November 27, 2009 from a very aggressive cancer. He was born in Newell, West Virginia on August 11, 1942. Mark came to Everett in 1962 with the US Air Force. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Maryann; and four children: son, Brent (Bre), daughters, Kay Emery (Greg) and Carol Straight (Dave Kuether), and son, Larry. He also leaves seven special and beloved grandchildren, Jacob, Adam, Zach, Maggie, Leslee, Jessica, and Orry. Mark was an active member of the Western Washington Wood turners and a woodworker. He enjoyed camping and his family. He will be terribly missed by all. Private services were held. A celebration of his life will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., on Sunday, December 6, at his home.
